Maputo - International Day of Yoga celebrations (23 June 2024)

High Commission of India in collaboration with Maputo Municipal Council organised International Day of Yoga celebrations at the Independence Square in Maputo. More than 800 yoga enthusiasts participated in the yoga session.

We would like to thank Maputo Municipal Council for jointly celebrating the event. A big thank you to yoga experts and volunteers for guiding us, and our generous partners for supporting us.

As part of IDY celebrations in Mozambique, more than 130 yoga sessions were held in Maputo, Matola, Xai Xai, Beira, Tete, Nampula, Nacala and Pemba.
