Outreach to Tete (17 May 2024)

High Commissioner interacted with the Indian community in Tete in central Mozambique and discussed community welfare issues. We have a vibrant Indian community in Tete. Also, High Commissioner visited coal mines operated by ICVL and Vulcan and interacted with Indian nationals working there. Besides large mining operations by Indian companies (ICVL, Vulcan and Jindal Steel), we have Indian nationals/PIOs engaged in trading in Tete province. Also, there are two schools in Tete belonging to Indian educationists.
