ITEC Day in Maputo (2 Oct 2025)

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) sponsored Gujarati Folk Dance group performed at India House in Maputo on the occasion of Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Day and ongoing celebrations of 50 years of diplomatic relations between India and Mozambique. About 400 guests including ITEC alumni, ICCR alumni, Indian nationals and friends of India attended the event.
Under ITEC programme, Mozambican friends have been attending various short term training courses in India. These are fully funded by Government of India.
The Gujarati Folk Dance group will be performing in Nampula and Nacala in northern Mozambique.
