Vacancy for Yoga Teacher 

High Commission of India in Maputo invites applications for the position of a Yoga Teacher for conducting regular Yoga classes.

Qualification:

(1)  Candidate should be a citizen of Mozambique or have an NRI status with a valid  work permit;

(2)   Fluency in English and Portuguese languages; 

(3) A minimum 3-year degree with 3 years of experience OR 2-year     diploma/certificate or training in the concerned field of Yoga for a minimum period of 2 years from a renowned institution with 4 years of experience;

(4) Experience in giving performance/lecture/demonstrations;

(5) Adequate knowledge of history, philosophy and traditions of Indian music, dance, art and culture and sound working knowledge of computers including recording/downloading audio/video, mixing and editing video from the YouTube/internet is desirable;

Duties: 

To conduct regular yoga classes and also to actively contribute to High Commission’s outreach activities towards promotion of yoga.  

Age: Between 25 to 50 years

Reasonable remuneration according to the qualification and the number of classes taken by the instructor weekly/monthly.
