High Commission of India in collaboration with the Confederation of Economic Associations (CTA) and Agency for the Promotion of Investments and Exports (APIEX) in Nampula organized a business roundtable in Nampula. Hon’ble Governor of Nampula Province, Hon’ble Mayor of Nampula and President of CTA Nampula were the key speakers in the event.

 The business roundtable in Nampula was organized at Hotel Milenio. Over 120 participants representing various business sectors and trade bodies, government and municipal council officials attended the event.

 The event provided a platform for participants to exchange ideas on the economic and business opportunities between the two countries. There is scope to expand and diversify the trade basket between India and Mozambique. Also, northern Mozambique is a favorable destination for Indian investors. India already has substantial business presence in Nampula province. We have large numbers of Indian companies in the agriculture sector, manufacturing, trading & FMCG and logistics in Nampula and Nacala corridor.
