ITEC Day and India Unity Day celebrations in Tete (19 Oct 2025)

ITEC Day and India Unity Day was celebrated in Tete in western Mozambique. Secretary of State for Tete province H.E. Ms. Cristina de Jesus Xavier Mafumo was the Chief Guest. We were honored with the presence of senior dignitaries from the provincial government. The event was attended by more than 500 Indian nationals and friends of India.
All guests observed a minute’s silence in memory of those who died in the recent boat accident off Beira coast. We would like to thank the Indian community for their hard work and cooperation with the High Commission in successfully organizing such a big event.
