Outreach to Pemba (9 March 2026)

High Commission organised Defence Export Promotion event in Pemba in northern Mozambique. The event was attended by senior representatives from civil administration including Mayor, Army, Tanzanian Defence Forces, important private security companies, LNG projects and mining ventures.
As part of Veteran Outreach Programme, Defence Adviser Colonel Puneet Attri interacted with former officers of the Indian Army during his visit to Pemba. A number of ex-servicemen from the Indian Armed Forces work with mining companies in Cabo Delgado province.
Separately, High Commission organized consular camp in Pemba. We have an active Indian community in Pemba.
