Visit of ICCR sponsored cultural group to Mozambique (21 Aug 2026)

The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) sponsored the visit of Saptak Gujarati Folk Dance group to Mozambique from 13-21 August 2026.
The group performed at the National Day Reception in Maputo, which was attended by more than 400 guests. On the occasion of India’s Independence Day, a cultural programme was held in Xai Xai. We were honoured with the presence of the Hon’ble Governor of Gaza province. The group also performed at National Day Receptions in Tete and Chirodzi. In addition, the group performed in 11 schools in Maputo, Matola, Tete and Chirodzi.
