Visit of Indian Coast Guard Ship Sachet to Maputo (15 Oct 2025)

ICGS Sachet visited Maputo from 11-15 October 2025. During the visit, the Indian and Mozambican sides undertook various joint training activities such as Pollution Control and Rescue Operations, VBSS, diving and fire-fighting. A Reception was held onboard ICGS Sachet and outreach initiatives included futsal fixture with Mozambique Navy, donation of food to an orphanage in Maputo and to local community in Salamanga and visits by Indian community & school children. ICGS Sachet delivered the first tranche of medicines and equipment that India had earlier announced that it will be gifting to Mozambique.
